I am afraid the situation in the country is rather bad and sad. We have been a bit casual and at times flippant about our politics for some time. Let’s be honest starting from the time Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was invited by certain groups of people to come to the UGCC to fight for political Independence. Those people who invited Dr. Kwame Nkrumah had their own personal selfish interest. Out of malice, black or white mail etc. .. At that time our Paramount Chiefs had their own police, courts and prisons alongside the main colonial's government. Most of those Chiefs had access to better school education for their children and family members. They were also warned against the rising political groups. The interesting thing was that some of the Educated ones flirting with politics were the Sons ,Nephews and family members of the Chiefs who were partners or cohorts of the Colonial Governors and governments. That’s was my reason of suggesting that these politicians were flirting with politics. Depending on your situation either as a son or a nephew of a chief who has the chance of becoming a chief or a cohort of the colonial government. Under.. Kwame Nkrumah came to find out that these same guys who were responsible for his invitation to fight for democracy had double sided interests. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah found out the real intentions and interests of these people who invited him to fight colonialism. Very interestingly he found out the Neo-colonialist interest or ambitions in these groups. Dr. Nkrumah was so farsighted and and right to describe these characters as the Most Dangerous people in the development and advancement of Africans. Well, just look at what has happened since Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was deposed by the help of these same group of people their descendants or cohorts now running our affairs. They don’t see themselves as real Ghanaians. They see themselves as the Ruling class, cohorts of the colonial powers. Always ready to run to them for financial support.

Transformational leaders are everywhere in Ghana, it's your party that lacks them.
