  Actually Ghanaian citizen shouldn't even paying the extravagant amounts they charge at all. Why? Because the service is awful. The tranmission of power is never stable. Did the electric company consider the damage and premature failure of all the electrical items bought in Ghana? They should be charging one fourth the price they charge. Give the consumers a break you are costing us double and destroying the products we use....tv. refrigerators, a/c, etc. Your service is so bad we have to purchase Stablizers to try and keep or items from burning up or out. Now you want VAT... to rob us more?
