  I read in my primary school book that, the Akwapim's saw the Ga's migrating from the sea with their cannoes with a huge number of people. With this, they said " look at the people coming from the sea, As many as the Ants ( Nkran). That came the name Nkran meaning As many as Ants.

Who is more criminal than the colonialists, including the Danes, Potuguese, and English, who travelled across the vast Atlantic, captured our people to work on their farms and plantstions.

  No one could argue the fact claimed by the Gã people that they came from " Israel ". The true statement rather is the Gã people migrated from AKRA in the Land of PALESTINE or Canaan.
  They brought their own name from where they came from.They are Akra and not Nkran as eroneously said .
