  Very interesting, thank you. I have just found this in two Indian shops (though I was told it was traditionally used by African people) just outside Paris (the Pantin area).
  I asked what it was called and how it was used and tried a very big chunk of a green one (would love to know what the difference in taste/properties are with the red ones), if you know anything about that maybe that's info you could add.
  For now what I can say is I fancied trying again after eating some very fatty brownie that was making me feel slightly ill, and it felt "refreshing". Then at some point my stomach (intestines) felt a bit sore for a few moments, but then it went away and I felt fine. I think it did me good, and it has made me feel like using it again for a while to see if it does anything good with my acne etc. since I feel it would be good to help me digest foods that I otherwise have trouble digesting and cleanse my liver a bit.
