This was the inscription on my dad's boneshaker. The meaning speaks of itself considering the current situation in our dear old Gold Coast.

No choked gutters, no filth on the streets because the white man was in charge, not the black man. After the white man was kicked out, corruption took over, and slowly everything degenerated the current state of affairs. This is prove that we are not capable of ever putting our house in order. The african will his all his resources and energy to construct a house and then sit there and watch it deteriorate to deporable conditions. I guess that's our nature. It's in us. Period. All we know how to do is go begging. And the cycle keeps going.

You tell your father; "Father, I'm grown up now. I want my independence. I want to make my own mistakes. I can manage my own affairs." Sounds familiar? The day after your so-called independence and for 60 years thereafter, you are constantly at your father's door begging for money to feed your wife and children and you are still bragging to your friends that you were the first of your father's many children to gain your independence.

Be at the top. I am better off now than those slavery days all sake of few chiefs who were drinking Milo,Benz bread and playing golf with the white folks, thought Ghana belong to them alone no wonder they detested Nkrumah.
