Rev Charles Owusu, a former member of the Forestry Commission, has lambasted Prophet Kofi Oduro, General Overseer of Alabaster International Ministries, over his constant attacks on fellow pastors in the country.

According to Rev Owusu, Prophet Oduro has consistently branded Ghanaian pastors as fake because of what he describes as false prophecies.

He said it is difficult to believe that Prophet Oduro sees himself as the only genuine man of God.

"A pastor has no reason to attack his fellow men of God because it is the same work they are all doing," Rev Owusu stated.

He further criticised Prophet Oduro, stressing that no one has appointed him as the leader of pastors in the country.

He advised him to tone down his criticism because he does not have the authority to determine who is right or wrong.

Owusu also refuted Prophet Oduro's assertion that God does not care about elections in Ghana, hence most election-related prophecies are fake.

Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on September 16, 2025, Rev Owusu said, "The insults are too much. There is nothing that happens in this country that Kofi Oduro doesn't add his voice to, and most of the time, it is negative and insulting.

"Who made you the class captain of pastors in this country? Who appointed you to determine which pastor is correct or not? Who gave you that position?"

He added, "If you don't drink, how would you know someone who drinks? If you are not into prostitution, how would you know someone is into prostitution?"

Prophet Kofi Oduro has been an ardent critic of pastors he accuses of delivering fake prophecies, particularly regarding elections.

He has openly attacked several prophets, claiming their prophecies do not come from God.
