What can Bede Ziedeng do as an MP - Ken Agyepong asks

Maverick politician and businessman Kennedy Ohene Agyepong has question the capabilities of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for Lawra constituency in the Upper West region, Bede Ziedeng should he emerged victorious at the polls.

According to the Assin Central legislator, the NDC party saw the flaws and in competence in Mr Zeideng who was appointed as regional minister and therefore dismissed him barely a year after his appointment into government.

“If he was dismissed as a minister because he has not got what it takes to be one, what can he do as an MP”, he asked teeming supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the constituency campaign launch at Lawra over the weekend.

He said residents should be proud to have a candidate like Anthony Abayifa Karbo who is unparalleled in terms of competence and commitment urging them to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to make things work again.

“You should be proud to have a candidate like Karbo who talks fiercely, very articulate and hardworking. Sometimes when I sit by my TV and I hear him speaking to issues, I am happy and say to myself that is my man,” he emphasized.

Mr Agyepong also advised them to desist from voting for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC at the polls primarily because the president is their kinsman indicating that he has over the period failed to give account as a good leader to the country.

While he observed that the youth and the country continue to suffer, there is no hope their suffering will ever end under the current government even though their brother is at the helm of affairs.

“He is your brother that is true. But if you go to buy things or pay fees do they give that to you for free because you voted for President Mahama? Do you get any preferential treatment in your day to day activities because you supported for president Mahama? The UP tradition started from this area so let us all put hands on deck and revitalize the spirit of our forefathers”, he said.
