Osafo Marfo At Rutgers

Newark, New Jersey -- Hon. Yaw Osafo- Maafo, Member of Parliament for Akim who is on a visit to the USA recently gave a lecture at Rutgers University's Newark Campus.

The lecture which was attended by Professors and students occured at The Rutgers Business School And Rutgers School Of Global Affairs,The State University Of New Jersey.

The topic was; The Impact Of Globalization On Developing Countries: Learning Lessons From Ghana.

He gave brief historical sketch and outlined some statistics on"Globalization" in developing countries particularly Africa. He examined the impact of globalization on developing countries including Ghana, and end on what lessons can be learned from Ghana's experience. The focus was mainly on economic globalization.

The Former Minister For Finance & Economic Planning And Minister For Education & Sports was superb in delivery the lecture. He demonstrated his vast experience in global affairs and inspired participants interested to know more about Globalization.
