He however said factors like the high rate of youth unemployment and lack of education have turned that resource into a burden with many analysts warning of major threats to the country’s security.

“You made me a better leader and a better servant, and I won’t stop; I’ll be right there with you as your leader. I won’t abandon you.” And I’m still asking you to believe in our work and the NPP’s ability to bring change,” Sammy Awuku exclusively told Kwame Tutu on Anopa Nkomo on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7

Sammy Awuku further stated, the Nana Akufo-Addo government will ensure that policies aimed at training and providing employment opportunities for young people will be made available, adding that the NPP will maintain the nursing and training allowance and give priority to agriculture in quest to create more job opportunities.

“It’s been the honor of my life to serve you all as the Board Chairman of the National Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

“As the youth kept pouring out their hearts full of appreciation and sorrow, Sammy Awuku kept inspiring the youth to work harder. He again promised he will never abandon them on his accomplishments with the youth, even as he moves further.”
