Mozambique coach Abel Xavier has spoken about his side’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header with Ghana.

Os Mambas will take on the Black Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 24 before the return encounter at Estadio Nacional do Zimpeto in Maputo three days later.

“We have to present ourselves in the two games at high level,” Xavier was quoted as saying by FootballMadeInGhana.

“We are playing with Ghana, one of the best African teams and we need to be effective in defending and attacking.

“It is a game in which there is no room for errors. Working time for the team is short, so we have to pass a little bit of everything.

“All players will be evaluated. We value them for the present and for the future.”

Ghana currently lead the group with six points, three better than second-placed Rwanda.

Mauritius and Mozambique complete the pack in that order with three and zero points respectively.
