NPP International Conference in London

London, UK -- The NPP held an International Conference in London from Friday, March 16 to
Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Royal National Hotel in London which was
addressed by President Kufuor and chaired by National Party Chairman, Mr.
Peter Mac Manu. The conference was attended by delegates from Ghana, USA,
France, Germany, Italy and UK. On Friday night, President Kufuor graced a
well-attended dinner dance organized by NPP UK at the Royal National Hotel,
Rusell Square to celebrate the golden jubilee.

Among the government dignitaries who attended the well oversubscribed
programme were; Professor Daniel Adzei-Bekoe, Chairman of the Council of
State and Madam Ama Busia, member of the Council of State, Nana Addo Dankwah
Akufo-Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and NEPAD, Mr Kwamena Bartels,
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Hon Joe Ghartey, Attorney
General, Hon Dr. Akoto Osei, Deputy Finance Minister, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah
Bonsu, NPP Majority Chief Whip in Parliament, Nana Ohene Ntow- Gen.
Secretary, Ms. Rita Asobayire- National Women's Organiser, Mr. John Boadu-
National Youth Organiser, Sammy Crabbe- Greater Accra NPP Chairman and
Kenwuud Nuworsu Volta Region NPP Chairman.

The President also addressed a rally of Ghanaians at the Broadwater Farm
Community Centre on Saturday, before attending a Thanksgiving Service on
Sunday. Many guests rushed to greet the honourable President and also had
the privilege of taking pictures with him.
