Commuters travelling in a vehicle were left terrified after a driver allegedly sped recklessly on the road, in an attempt to overtake an STC bus in a near-collision encounter.

In a video shared on X on October 14, 2026, the passengers could be heard screaming and repeatedly pleading with the driver to stop the overtaking attempt.

“Driver please stop,” they could be heard complaining.

Despite their desperate pleas, the driver allegedly continued driving without stopping, leaving the passengers visibly distressed.

The video captured the frightening moment in which the passengers appeared helpless as they struggled to get the driver to respond to their demands, moment before the bus slightly bumped into the STC bus from the side.

“Jesus …Jesus!” the commuters screamed as others could be heard demanding that the driver stops the bus immediately for them to disembark.

The circumstances surrounding the incident, including where it occurred and why the driver allegedly refused to stop, remain unclear.
