A fierce fire outbreak at Lucky TV Studios in Kasoa on Monday, June 16, saw civilians stepping in to douse the raging fires.
In the video which has since gone viral, the residents are seen at some point, taking over firefighting efforts from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
A footage from the scene, shared by EDHUB on X on June 16, 2025, showed the residents operating fire tenders and battling the fire, while fire personnel who appeared overwhelmed by the situation looked on helplessly.
The blaze had gutted a storey building that houses both the Lucky TV studio and the Lucky Herbal Clinic, prompting desperate attempts by residents to help contain the flames.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but as of the time of filing this report, no injuries had been reported.
The extent of the damage is yet to be fully assessed.
