The Kpordui community in the Keta Municipality was swept up in a massive celebration after finally being connected to the national grid to enjoy electricity for the first time, a moment that was treated as a major social victory.

According to a video post shared on X by EDHUB on October 8, 2025, residents poured into the streets in a spontaneous jamboree following the fulfillment of a long-awaited promise made by their Member of Parliament, Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey.
