Olympiakos tightened their grip on the leadership of the Greek first division with an impressive 6-0 demolition of Ethnikos Asteras on Sunday. Peter Ofori Quaye was the star of the show for the Athens giants as he smashed a hat-trick inside six second-half minutes. Predrag Djordgevic, Alekos Alexandris and Giovanni also got on the scoresheet, but the result was marred by injuries to Alexandris and goalkeeper Kleopas Ioannou.

Chris Atta Gyan is not regular player with Feyenoord anymore. I expect he could be able to leave the club this summer. Feyenoord is hoping to send their first generation to Feyenoord Salgado (Salgado Stars) to let the club promote to the highest division in Ghana. Some weeks ago the fourth generation already came. A player of the first generation, Jordan Opoku, a defensive midfielder is expected to move to Holland within two seasons. He could be play for Feyenoord Dutch feeders Excelsior then.

Goztepe chairman Hamdi Turkmen claimed on Sunday that his side's 3-2 defeat by Rizespor was rigged. Turkmen alleged he had received a tip-off before the match from an Izmir restaurant owner that the game had been fixed and would end either in a 2-2 draw or a 3-2 win for Rize.
Rize promptly sealed victory thanks in part to an Unal Alpagun penalty and a hotly-disputed Emmanuel Tetteh strike - leading Turkmen to point the finger at the referee.
