A man identified only as Mustapha has allegedly been attacked by an unidentified man after a video surfaced online in which he hurled insults at the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and his subordinates.
The incident, which quickly went viral across social media platforms, sparked outrage and reportedly led to a physical assault on the man.
In the first video, Mustapha mocked the Asantehene's directive, which formed part of the four-day funeral arrangements for the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

The directive urged residents within the Ashanti jurisdiction to observe an early curfew.
Mustapha went as far as to declare that "only fools will obey and sleep early," remarks widely condemned as disrespectful and an affront to the traditional authority of the Ashanti monarch.
However, a subsequent video showed Mustapha with blood on his body and swollen eyes.
In the footage, he is heard speaking to people off-camera as he attempts to apologise for his comments against the Asantehene.
Reports indicate that he was attacked by unidentified individuals angered by his remarks.
