VGMA 2018: Praye reunite for impressive performance

Put together by Charterhouse Productions, with Vodafone Ghana as headline sponsor, the annual VGMAs is music’s biggest night.

Since it was instituted in 2000, it has seen the nation’s brightest stars being celebrated for their creative contributions over the years. It has also witnessed some of the most iconic performances ever staged by artists from Ghana and beyond.

Hiplife trio Praye, reunited for the first time since their split on the stage, invoking nostalgia with live performances of classics they courted massive acclaim for back when they were active as a band.

Comprising Eugene Baah (Choir Masta/ Praye Ho Ne Ho), Steven Fiawoo(Cartel Big J/ Praye Tiatia), and Nana Kwame (Kente/ Praye Tenten) shot to fame after winning the maiden edition of the Nescafe African Revelation contest in Ghana,as well as the West African grand finale.

VGMA alumni, and authors of multiple albums including Tha Bomb, and Roll Koll, they’re also known for hit singles as My Shordy, Jacket, Angelina, Wodin, Wohuofe among others.

Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini, Tiwa Savage, Nasty C, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, MzVee and a host of others are all expected to mount the stage tonight with memorable performances. Broadcaster Berla Mundi, and actor Jon Dumelo are comperes for the night.
