A Level 400 student of the University of Ghana, Ellen Boakye Elikem, has reportedly passed away after a short illness.
She is said to have died while preparing to write her final examination paper, cutting short her academic journey at a critical moment as she neared the completion of her studies.

News of her demise was shared on social media by Voice of Legon on April 28, 2026.
Meanwhile, colleagues and friends of the deceased have held a vigil to mourn her passing and honour her memory.
The gathering which took place at the Evandy Hostel, brought together residents and other students who mourned her passing and paid tribute to her.
"Residents of Evandy Hostel at the University of Ghana have held a vigil for the late Ellen Boakye Elikem, a Level 400 student of the University of Ghana.
"She lost her life last Monday after a short illness. She was preparing to write her final exam paper", the post noted.
Further details regarding her passing have not yet been officially disclosed.
