The Dormaahene and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Agyemang Badu II, has commended former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for key development projects in Dormaa.
Speaking during a historic “Resetting Tour” and sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a 24-hour economy model market at Dormaa Ahenkro by President John Dramani Mahama in the Bono Region, the Dormaahene highlighted notable contributions by both leaders.
While listing a series of projects undertaken by the Mahama-led administration, the traditional ruler took a moment to acknowledge initiatives started under Akufo-Addo that have benefited the Dormaa people.

One major project he cited was the government’s flagship Agenda 111 initiative.
According to him, the hospital project located at Amasu is nearing completion and he appealed to President Mahama to ensure its completion.
“One of the major things that he also left for us is the Agenda 111 hospital This hospital at Amasu. It is near completion. Please find money to come and complete it for us,” he said.
The Dormaahene also expressed gratitude to Akufo-Addo for the construction of a market in the area.
“Mr President, after I have talked about roads, let me move to other things. Your brother, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, I want to thank him because if you look at my right, he came to build a market for us and I thank him,” he added.
