Two individuals have reportedly been arrested for posing as executioners during the final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
According to reports, the two male suspects were apprehended by security officials for stealing from unsuspecting attendees on the final day of the four-day event.
In a video shared by Sikaofficial on X on Friday, September 19, 2025, the two men are seen sitting in the backseat of a vehicle in handcuffs.

"They are pretending to be executioners, but they are not executioners. They claim Otumfuo sent them and are going about stealing from people. Thieves! They were posing as executioners and stole people's Pragyia (tricycle),” a female voice is heard shouting in the background of the video.
Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the 14th Asantehemaa, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 98.

Her four-day funeral rites, which began on September 14, 2025, drew dignitaries and mourners to Manhyia Palace.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who is also a direct sibling of the late Asantehemaa, was the chief mourner.
