Frimpong scores again in Nigeria

Less than three days after scoring against Gombe United in their 2-0 away win in a delayed Coca-Cola FA Cup quarter-final first leg match in Kaduna, Ghanaian international, Joetex Frimpong, has hit target again.

Frimpong, who is one the verge of making it to the World Cup with the Black Stars of Ghana scored his side?s equalizer against relegation threatened Gateway FC of Abeokuta in a Nigerian League match,on Sunday.
The Ghanaian told www.ghnaweb.com that the goal would prepare him for Wednesday's second leg match against Gombe United.
?My goal against Gateway would put me in the right frame for Wednesday?s match against Gombe United in the Coca-Cola FA Cup. The entire squad was great and we intend to continue in this mood. Scoring against Gombe was exciting and I hope to do it again,? he declared.
He maintained that the team would continue to improve as they seek to win the Coca-Cola FA Cup for the first time in the club?s history.
?Our mission is to win the cup and we shall remain focused, until we achieve our dream,? he said.
The Ghanaian, who has three international caps is the most popular foreigner soccer star in Nigeria.
