Suspects in Mahama’s murder sent to Nsawam prisons

The case has been adjourned to August 3. The case has been adjourned to August 3.

The Central District Magistrate Court has remanded all accused persons who are being held for the murder of Major Adam Mahama.

They are to be kept at the Nsawam prisons.

This was after the prosecutor DPS George Amegah had prayed the court for them to be sent to prisons custody instead of police cells.

He said the current situation where the suspects are kept at different locations is creating problems for the Police.

He also told the court that the duplicate docket on the case is being sent to the AGs department.

Lawyer for the accused , Charlse Owusu Juanah, said he had no objection to the move, but urged the prosecution to speed up their investigations.

The case has been adjourned to August 3.
