Stop talking and pray for Mahama – Duncan-Williams

Founder of the Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM), Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has asked members of his church who are frustrated by developments in the country to “stop talking” and pray for the President.

According to him, prayer is capable of resolving every difficult situation regardless of the cause.

“Whatever you think the president is doing or is not doing, if you pray for him and engage the hand of God; the hand of God can move some things.

“Whatever concerns you have; whether it is the President or the vice president or finance minister or the governor of the Bank of Ghana, just take it to prayer and stop arguing and talking, just stop it and take it to prayer,” the renowned charismatic preacher told his church Sunday.

In his view, only prayer can put the President in the position to take critical decisions that can take the country from its present predicaments.

“…. We are going to pray for the recovery of the economy. We want to pray for the President that someway, somehow, whatever it is that is blocking him from taking some decisions; whether it is the party, the god fathers of the party whoever, that God will cause him to have the audacity to break the status quo, and make the changes that are required and that those that must be removed must be removed”.

Ghana has been reeling under a severe power crisis for the past three years that has put the government under massive pressure.

Thousands of citizens led by actress Yvonne Nelson Saturday May 16, 2015, staged a mammoth protest in Accra against the unstable power situation in the West African country.
