Nigerian Arrested For Possessing Forged Documents

Accra,(Greater Accra) 23 Oct. A Nigerian alleged to have presented a fake air ticket for Germany was today remanded in custody until November six by an Accra Circuit tribunal. Peter O. Dike pleaded not guilty to uttering forged documents and possessing false documents. The prosecution told the court that Dike presented a Lufthansa air ticket to South African Airways in Accra for a trip to Germany. The prosecution said the officials detected that the ticket was fake and had him arrested. Investigations also showed that the agent, who allegedly issued the ticket from Atlanta, United States, did not exist. Dike told the police that he bought the ticket for 250,000 naira from a Bisilla he could not identify.
