Dancehall artiste and leader of the Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale, seems to have heeded an advice served him by rapper Sarkodie three days to the launch of his Reign album.

Sarkodie’s advice was embedded in his song titled “My Advice” obviously targeted at Shatta Wale in which the rapper was seen in the music video comfortably sipping a glass of an unknown liquid substance.

The song which gained a lot of traction and trended on social media platforms since its release urged Shatta Wale to stay focused on his music career and stop bragging about a flashy life.

It in parts alluded to the fact that a Benz car does not talk but it is regarded the best car.

While some industry players and music lovers commend Sarkodie for the song, especially the dexterity he exhibited in his rap, the Shatta Movement and other Shatta Wale fans did not take the song as an advice to their “god”.

Interestingly, Shatta Wale took to twitter to post a picture of a Toyota land cruiser and a Mercedes benz with the caption “Advice well taken..Mercedes Benz no Dey talk”

Even though no names have been mentioned, there post leaves room for many to suspect it is in reference to Sarkodie’s song.
