Zakari puts up great show in Croatia

Abdul Aziz Zakari put in a strong performance at the IAAF Grand Prix in Croatia, to finish first ansd second in the 200m and 100m respectively.

Charismatic American sprinter Bernard Williams beat Zakari by four one-hundredths-of-a-second in the 100m.

Zakari, currently ranked the 7th top sprinter in the world, finally gained revenge for his defeat in the 100 metres with a storming finish in the 200. The next Grand Prix meeting will be in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 16.
