Former President Jerry John Rawlings turned 70 years on Thursday, June 22.

As part of his platinum anniversary celebration, the retired flight lieutenant was gifted a 1993 Chevrolet Corvette car.

It seems the former head of state relished the gift as he posed just beside it.
