Quata redeems GTP’s image in his new song

Quata Quata

Arguably for some few weeks now one musician that seems to be receiving all the praises and the bashes from both the Ghanaian media and the general public is Quata Budukusu based on his Death to Sark single which happens to be a quick reply to rapper Sarkodie’s S.H.O.U.T track.

The song, though Quata touched on a lot of issues bothering our entertainment industry here in Ghana, the one trending most is the Baby hit maker’s reference to rapper Sarkodie’s disrespect to Ghana Textiles Print ‘GTP’s brand in his Kanta diss song to rapper M.anifest.

According to Budukus’s lines in the song “how dare you disrespect GTP? Go into history. GTP cloth was the treasure which our parents sold to pay our school fees and sort out other financial challenges in the family,” he fumed. “Moreover, remember GTP is one of the leading fashion designs Ghana can boast of and I believe as public figures, it`s just right for us to use our stands to disseminate the good works of GTP and other companies within the fashion industry here in Ghana and not to ruin it,” he added.

Meanwhile, to prove that he Quata has nothing personal against Sarkodie or any musician in Ghana, in an interview on Hitz FM with Dr Poundz on his last week’s edition of the Hitz FM’s High Table show, the Ginger and hallelujah hit maker Quata Budukusu listed his first five best rappers in the country and surprisingly Sarkodie’s name was mentioned.

According to Quata Budukusu’s management Bakus Entertainment and Mihcultainment, this year is a packed year for Budukusu since he is set to take the international market by storm, after collaborating with Uhuru and Gully Bop, Quata will be doing something with Busta Rhymes and a couple of great arts across the globe.
