Kit for Bofoakwa

A citizen of Goaso based in Italy, Mr Yaw Badu Duku, has presented a set of jerseys each to premier side, Bofoakwa Tano, and the Ahafoman Secondary Technical School at Goaso at separate ceremonies.

The jerseys for Bofoakwa cost ?5 million while those of the school cost ?3.5 million.

Making the presentations, Mr Duku, said sports, especially football, has become big business and its development must be taken with great interest. Mr Duku who is the manager of Badstel Internet Cafe in Accra, urged Bofoakwa to work hard not only to escape relegation but also qualify to play in one of the continental championships.

He also called on students of the Ahafoman school to combine their academic development with sports.

He urged the beneficiaries to take good care of the items. Mr K. Sarpong, a former goalkeeper of Bofoakwa, who received the jerseys on behalf of the club, thanked Mr Duku for the gesture.

He called on other people, especially those from the Brong Ahafo Region, to emulate Mr Duku's example.
