Two Ghanaians Arrested At Heathrow For Drug Trafficking

Accra,(Greater Accra)19, Sept. Two Ghanaians and two British students were on September 2 arrested at Heathrow Airport in London for contriving to smuggle 4.5 kilograms of cannabis into the United Kingdom. A statement issued in Accra today by the Public Relations Unit of the Narcotics Control Board, said the Ghanaians are Yaw Asante, an Insurance Broker, and Kwabena Gyima Osei-Bonsu. a businessman. The British Students are Felix Evans Armah and Felix Kevin Bryant. The statement said the drug was concealed in false bottoms of boxes containing vegetables among cargo which had earlier been sent by Ghana Airways. The suspects are expected to face prosecution in the United Kingdom soon.
