NPP Constituency Organiser Unhappy About Sub-Chief?s Statement

The Akuapem South Constituency Organiser of the NPP, Mr Bismark Kweku Poku has refuted a statement reported to have been made by a sub-chief in the constituency that the constituency has been adequately provided with facilities such as places of convenience, school blocks and bore holes.

The sub-chief is said to have made the statement at Adoagyire when President Kufour visited the constituency last month. Mr Kweku Poku said there are about 420 towns and villages in the Akuapem South Constituency some of which need facilities such as bore holes and places of convenience.

He also cited a cannery at Adoagyire which is currently out of operation as one of the key issues which should have been mentioned to President Kufuor during his visit.
