Owusu Bempah wouldn't have survived my accident - Ampaw

Outspoken Ghanaian lawyer, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has stated categorically that if it were Rev Owusu Bempah who was involved in the accident that would have been termed as death to him, he would have joined the land of silence.

Lawyer Ampaw made this revelation on Kessben FM last Saturday in a reaction to the claim by Rev Bempah that he was the cause of his accident. He said Rev Bempah may not have survived if he were the one.

"If Rev Owusu Bempah was the one to have been involved in such an accident, he would have died by now. Is he God? He said a time ago that I would fell unconscious and die in the courtroom in relations to Asamoah Gyan's case but it never happened. Accidents can happen to anyone at any time.

I am lucky God has saved me. If it were him, he wouldn't have had any God to come to his rescue. I had a burst of tyre that led to the accident. Even the ungodly people do not wish their enemies dead, how much more you being a man of God. Is Owusu Bempah Jesus Christ? Let's assume I even spoke against you, is that how a real man of God should behave?"

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw was involved in an accident about a week ago which according to him, the car somersaulted an umpteenth number of times in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Later after the news broke out, Rev Owusu Bempah was heard in the news to have claimed that he was the cause of the accident because he said the lawyer had spoken against him a time ago. Meanwhile, Rev Bempah said he intentionally decided not to kill him and that he wanted to teach him a lesson.
