Table Tennis: Monthly tourney takes off

The monthly tournament of the Ghana Table Tennis Association is scheduled to take off on April 26 at the sports hall o the Accra Sports Stadium.

The tournament which, opened to all male and female players in the country, is part of the preparation towards the 47th World table Tennis Championship in France in Paris from May 18-25 and the All Africa Games in Abuja later this year.

The event is expected to attract players like Nana Yaw Boateng the current champion, Courage Nanevie who is highly ranked on the GTTA monthly ranking table and other to players like Solomon Akkunor.
