Nasty C now recognises Shatta Wale; gives him a gangster shout-out

If you could remember, South African rapper Nasty C who was billed to perform at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in an interview revealed that he has heard the name Shatta Wale but not his works or his personality.

In an interview with Giovanni on StarrFm, he was asked about some Ghanaian acts, he was working with. He mentioned that he was currently working with Stonebwoy on a project, then he was asked by Giovanni if he’s heard the name, Shatta Wale.

“I have heard the name Shatta Wale but not his works. I don’t know if he is a man or woman,” Nasty C shockingly said.

This proclamation by the South African rapper compelled Shatta Movement Family on social media to chastise Nasty C from all angles for demeaning their Dancehall King. But it’s obvious things has changed within a blink as Nasty C is now following the works of Ghana’s very own Shatta Wale.

Well, over the weekend, Shatta Wale took to the photo sharing platform or better still Instagram and shared a nice shot of himself cooling off beside his pool appearing shirtless. In the process, Nasty C came across the photo and commented;

“Shattacoolin‘ and then Shatta replied ‘@nasty_csa Blingssss”.

It appears the “Gringo” crooner has also been following Nasty C closely as the “Blingssss” comment in his reply is derived from Nasty’s latest album ‘Strings and Blings‘. With this, we wouldn’t be surprised to wake up one day to hear a collaborative tune between Shatta Wale and Nasty C.
