Report impostors - UG

Accra July 13, GNA - University of Ghana (UG), Legon on Thursday said admissions into the University for 2006/2007 academic year was over and advised the public to report all impostors collecting monies from unsuspecting applicants.

The University observed that impostors were going about collecting monies from unsuspecting applicants under the pretext of securing admissions for them.

A statement issued from the Registrar's Offices of the University, in Accra explained that the process of admissions was undertaken by the Admissions Boards and not by individuals.

According to the statement, admissions to the University was over and urged the public to visit the University's websites at www.ug.edu.gh or the notice board of the University's Balm Library for the list of students admitted.

"Letters to applicants admitted have already been dispatched," the statement said.
