Nana Addo's Message to BECE Candidates: Seize the opportunity

Nana Akufo-Addo Nana Akufo-Addo

Flagbearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has sent a goodwill message to candidates sitting the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) tasking them to do their best in the exams.

His full statement is as follows:

"This is to wish the 428,030 candidates who, from Monday, June 15, 2015, to Friday, June 19, 2015, are taking this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination in 1,546 centres across the country, the very best of luck.

I continue to reiterate that education is a matter of the greatest importance to the prosperity and welfare of any society. If we seek to transform our country into a modern productive player in the global market, education and skills training of our young people are the surest bet. Quality, accessible education is the key. I am asking our students to seize this opportunity with both hands and open the door to their own and Ghana’s bright future.

Good luck! God bless!"
