6th GHANA TRADE FAIR UNDERWAY IN ACCRA

The 6th Ghana International Trade Fair entered its second day today. The decision to have the first three days strictly for business was flouted as organised school children and fan lovers visited the fair to see the wares on display. Our correspondents say this trade fair seems better organised. But it became quite difficult for exhibitors and participants who had for one reason or the other gone outside the premises of the fair in their vehicles to get back after 5pm. As a result, long queues of cars were seen outside the entrance of the fair. According to security men at the gate they had been ordered by the chief Executive of the Trade Fair Company to seal the gates. There will be two special "Company days' during the week. The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation will be explaining its gas pipeline project which is expected to power an electric generation plant in the Western Region. Syria will also hold its national day. gri
