Ellis Kwamena Otabil, New Patriotic Party's Effutu Constituency Communications Officer, has responded to Inusah Fuseini's claims that Minority Leader Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin scandalised the court with his comments on the Kpandai parliamentary election petition ruling.
Otabil argues that Afenyo-Markin, a seasoned lawyer, has not breached any laws and is entitled to share his opinion on the court's decision.

"The constitution permits us to express our views when judgments are delivered," Otabil stressed.
Otabil emphasized that Afenyo-Markin's track record as a respected lawyer who has contributed to Ghana's democracy, making it unlikely he would scandalize the judiciary.
Speaking on Osimpam FM, he said; "Osahen as a great lawyer who has won some landmark cases including Ayi Mensah v Electoral Commission to deepen our democracy, will be there last person to scandalise himself and the judiciary.
"What we must know is that our constitution permits us to express our opinion and share our views when judgements are delivered by courts being it a sole judge sitting on a case as it is in this instant matter or at the appeal's court or even at the supreme court".
