The 1st Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) F.F Anto has stated that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) target of wining thirteen parliamentary seats in the Ashanti region is unrealistic.

He added that the NDC’s vision is unachievable, advising them to wake up from their deep slumber.

F.F Anto indicated that their vision is laughable, saying the electorate are fed up with the NDC and that they will be booted out in the December polls due to their poor performance.

The NDC has targeted one million votes in the region and NPP regional office has also promised Nana Addo of 80% votes.

But speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkrah, he explained that Ghanaians are yearning for change and that the party is working assiduously on the ground to unseat the NDC.

He said the NDC has not been able to solve pertaining issues bedevilling the nation, questioning measures the NDC has put in place to relieve Ghanaians of hardship.

‘NDC’s one million votes in the region is unrealistic, and their 13 seats target is unrealistic, NDC cannot achieve their thirteen seats in the region, we are working very hard, we are confident of winning a minimum of 45 seats in the rgion, most Ghanaians are complaining they cannot pay their bills, there is a wind of change, so God willing Nana Addo will win this time round,’he expressed hope.

The 1st Vice Chairman of NPP said the party is encouraged by the euphoria shown to the party by electorate during their campaign tours.

Mr. Anto said the retail campaign is effective way of communicating with the electorate unlike the previous years.
