GAF/NAVY lock horns on Thursday

Accra, June 26, GNA -- The Ghana Air Forces and their sister organisation, the Ghana Navy will on Thursday, June 29, lock horns in the fourth week of the 2006 Areeba Handball Championship at the Burma Camp Court.
The match promises to be the top liner for the week, considering the track record of the two sides. and both sides look good to grab the maximum points at stake.
Other fixtures will see Fire Services engaging Ghana Armed Forces, which will precede the top liner at the Burma Camp on Wednesday, with Asomdwe Club taking on Future Stars at Sacred Heart College on Thursday. On Friday, Prisons Services will take on Police Service at the Prisons Complex with Hostac battling Old Hands at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex.
In the third week fixtures, Future Stars defeated Prison Services 20-19, while Asomdwe Club held HOSTAC to a 17 all draw game, but the female category saw Hostac losing 10-9 to Asomdwe club.
Police Service defeated Ghana Army by 16-13 in the male division and enjoyed the same glory in the female division by 27-14. Ghana Navy recorded a 26-13 victory over Old Hands.
