Ghana-Denmark Business Relations Deepens

Ninety Ghanaian private enterprises have established joint partnership with their Danish counterparts under the annual Ghana-Denmark Consultations Meetings. Senior Minister, J. H Mensah, who disclosed this, says it marks a significant improvement in the standard of Ghanaian entrepreneurship and its ability to compete in the world market. He was briefing newsmen after accompanying a two-man Danish delegation to pay a courtesy call on the President at the Castle, Osu.

The delegation is in Ghana to participate in the annual Ghana-Denmark Consultations Meeting, which began in Accra today. The four-day meeting is centered on micro financing and the growth of the private sector in Ghana's economy. Mr. Mensah said Denmark's assistance to Ghana had been encouraging for the past year because of the prudent government policies and programs that have gained increased confidence in the world.
