Managing Editor of the Alhajj Newspaper, Alhaji Iddrisu Bature, has taken a swipe at Ex-President Mahama critics who criticized him for his demeanor after he lost the 2016 General Elections, describing them as inhuman.

Few days after Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Madam Charlotte Osei, pronounced Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as winner of the 2016 General Elections, people pounced on President Mahama, criticizing his demeanor.

Many were those who said he had lost so much weight and also did not look that cheerful as he did before the elections.

Meanwhile, speaking on UTV on Monday, Alhaji Bature, indicated that anyone who engaged in that criticism is not a human being.

“Because a change from a cheerful demeanor to a sad one after such a serious defeat is a natural feeling among humans”, the Managing Editor added.

According to him, Ex-President Mahama rather needs commendation from Ghanaians for walking his talk of maintaining peace before, during and after the elections as well as towards the transition, saying is the best ever held in Ghana.

Mr. Bature wished President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and his government well but was skeptical that he will be able to execute all the policies promised during the electioneering.
