New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has simplified all the problems the opposition National Democratic Congress have in one, and according to him, the problem is John Mahama, MyNewsGh.com has filed.

The NPP MP who was a Guest in Citi FM’s Big Issue was of the opinion that if NDC would be bold enough to discard Mahama, they would be better off.

“A lot of them (NDC members) cannot voice it out now, because he is the choice of the party now, unfortunately. He is their problem and they cannot do away with him and yet they know that when they go to war with him at the arrowhead they are going to lose,” he said.

“In 2020, former President Mahama is not coming back, I am not a prophet of doom and not a soothsayer to see what will happen in the future, but for the few years I have been in politics, I am sensitive enough, my body can react to things that are happening. It is good for us (NPP),” he said.

Like Kennedy Agyapong, Dr Mustapha Hamid, and Chariman Wontumi, the NPP MP also believes that ahead of the National Democratic Congress’ presidential primaries, Mahama’s candidacy would negatively affect the NDC’s chances in the polls.

Chairman Wontumi, while saying the former President John Mahama is easy to beatin any election, has nevertheless signalled efforts to drag the issue of Mr Mahama’s second coming to the Supreme court for interpretation.
