Osam names Squad For Nigeria

The caretaker coach of the Black Stars has released his list of 23 players including five foreign-based players for the last World Cup match against Nigeria in Port Harcourt.
The foreign-based players invited by the coach are Emmanuel Duah of Unairo Leira, Mohammed Gargo of Udinese, Charles Amoah of Sturm Graz and AC Parma midfielder Stephen Appiah.

From the local scene, Osam Duodu called up the same players he invited for the game against Sudan. Asante Kotoko’s Godfred Yeboah is the only new member from the local scene. He replaces Hearts of Oak’s Amankwah Mireku who is recovering from an arm surgery.

Players called from Obuasi Goldfields are Princeton Owusu Ansah, Isaac Boakye, Stephen Amo, Kofi Amoako, Yaw Owusu, Aminu Musa, Nana Arhin Duah and Kenneth Ababio.

Asante Kotoko’s Godwin Ablordey, Isaac Owusu and goalkeeper Osei Boateng were invited. Goalkeeper James Nanor, Emmanuel Osei Kuffour and Charles Taylor all from Hearts of Oak have all been invited for the game.
Real Tamale United’s Hamza Mohammed, Issa Mohammed of Hasaacas and George Essilfie from Great Olympics were called for the game against the Super Eagles on 29th July.
