Cocoa Purchases For 1997 Light Crop Season Ends On 4th September

Accra, Sept. 4, Ghana Cocoboard has announced that purchases of the 1997 Light Crop Season will cease at the close of business today, September 4, 1997. A statement issued in Accra said in order to assist the Produce Buying Agency Limited and other Licensed Buying Companies obtain the final returns from their up-country stations, Cocobod has decided that returns on purchases will be accepted up to 1600 hours on Thursday, September 18, 1997.
