The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, addressed Ghanaians on the current state of road infrastructure in the country.
As part of his appearance on the Government Accountability Series, Agbodza highlighted the administration’s renewed focus on infrastructure development, including the dualization of major highways, expansion of urban road networks, and the completion of stalled projects inherited from the previous government.
The initiative is rooted in the President’s commitment to inclusive development and efforts to reduce road traffic fatalities nationwide.
The Government Accountability Series is an initiative aimed at promoting transparency and keeping the public informed about government activities.
It offers a platform for ministers to report on the progress of their sectors and engage directly with citizens.
Agbodza is also expected to reaffirm the government's dedication to delivering quality road infrastructure across all regions, with special emphasis on underserved rural communities, ensuring that no part of the country is left behind.
