The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, launches the Vegetable Development Project on Thursday, November 27, 2025, under the Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana initiative.

The Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana initiative aims to accelerate the transformation of Ghana’s agricultural sector, ensure food security, create sustainable employment, and enhance economic growth by reducing import dependency while boosting domestic production and exports.

Several government officials attend the event, which is held in the Ahafo Region, with President John Dramani Mahama serving as the main guest speaker.
