Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie, has cautioned the Porcupine Warriors to expect the worse when they travel to Congo for the CAF Confederation Cup 2nd leg game against Club Athlétique Renaissance Aiglon(CARA) .

He made this statement following his experience with the Black Stars when the team travelled to Congo for the reverse fixture of their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars were left frustrated for about three ours at the airport after arriving in Congo.

The team was delayed several hours upon arrival because their passports were held in the custody of the immigration.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, George Afriyie, who doubles as the Director for Liberty Professionals Football Club said,

” Nobody should deceive Asante Kotoko that the Congolese won’t intimidate them when they go there because they will”.

“Per my experience with them, I can say for a fact that they won’t make it easy for them”.

“Kotoko should prepare for the worst in Congo because they will frustrate them a lot.

“I’m happy they are putting measures in place to ensure they don’t go through what the BlackStars went hrough in Congo but they have to be on the look out”,he added.

The second leg battle is slated for February 21st at the Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat.
