An opinion leader in Bole, hometown of former President John Dramani Mahama, Mallam Mohammed Hudu has said that the gods of the traditionalists and the God of Muslims and Christians will continue to guide Ibrahim Mahama with the current high level of hatred for him by some elements in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Speaking on the morning show of Bole-based Nkilgi FM, Mallam Mohammed said the craze to find problems for Ibrahim Mahama has reached the realms of absurdity, as his detractors move heaven and earth to nail him without succeeding.

He has therefore warned that if maverick politician and NPP firebrand Kennedy Agyapong does not tread cautiously in seeking to bring into disrepute the name of Ibrahim Mahama, he will soon die in a plane crash as a result of the wrath of the gods.

“The gods of Bole are seething in anger and will soon explode and I am certain the first person to incur their wrath will be Kennedy Agyepong if he does not stop his hatred for Ibrahim Mahama.”, he said.

Many in Bole are furious after Kennedy Ohene Agyepong urged President Akufo-Addo to order that classroom blocks be built at Bole, the hometown of former President John Mahama with monies that would be taken from the younger brother of the former President, Ibrahim Mahama by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Mallam Mohammed Hudu said it is not true Bole residents are cursing former President Mahama for abandoning his hometown saying “the people of Bole will rather curse Kennedy Agyepong but not former President Mahama who hails from Bole and who has done his best for the people”.

The opinion leader said the statement of Kennedy Agyepong on Adom TV’s Badwam last Tuesday that residents of Bole are disappointed in the former President for not fulfilling his promises of building school blocks in Bole is not true and will only come from a demented and confused politician.

Kennedy Agyepong said most pupils in all public schools in the former President’s hometown (Bole), are lying on the floor to study and this has also irked Mallam Mohammed who explained that “there is no single school in Bole that students lie on the floor to study”…….. It is an imagination from a jealous politician full of hatred for Ibrahim Mahama and former President Mahama”.
