Ex- assistance head master of KNUST SHS speaks
Daniel Boamah-Duku, a former Assistant Headmaster of KNUST Senior High School, has shared details about the recent viral video capturing the current Assistant Headmaster, Charles Akwasi Aidoo, in a compromising situation with a female student.
According to Boamah-Duku, his long-time friend Aidoo, whom he affectionately called "Stonebwoy" since their early days, has surprised him by his actions.
He alleged that the girl seen in the video is known on campus for bad behaviour and was once disciplined by school authorities.
Speaking in an interview on Oyerepa TV on October 1, 2025, Boamah-Duku alleged that the student "smokes wee" and had been expelled from the school's boarding house due to misconduct, which forced her to continue as a day student.
How social media reacted to viral video of assistant headmaster and SHS girl
"No matter who you are, you cannot extort money from children. The law even says that we should not manhandle them. Even if a child offers herself to you, you must not engage her. So, God should help us all.
"The child in question, from what I know she is not a good girl. She smokes wee. And I am surprised that Stonebwoy would associate with her because this is a child we disciplined and expelled from the boarding house,” he remarked.
MP for Twifo Atti-Morkwa wades into saga
Member of Parliament for Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Theophilus Dominic VonDee, has stated that the KNUST Senior High School (SHS) student involved in a viral video with her assistant headmaster consented to the act and not being forced into it.
Speaking on a panel discussion on Adom TV on September 30, 2025, he said, "I am a realist. Personally, I like to say things the way they are.
"If you watch the video carefully, sincerely, the man was not forcing the young girl. He didn't force her; it was more of a consented thing."
"The old man and the young lady agreed to do that and it must be established. There is no sin... in saying the man forced the young lady. It was a consented thing; both agreed to be in that mood," he added.
Female student in viral video breaks silence
The female Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Senior High School student seen in a viral video with an assistant headmaster in a compromising situation has spoken out to clarify her age.
In an interview with Adom News reporter Kwadwo Obeng Mireku, she stressed that she is 19 years old and not 13, as has been widely speculated.
"Just tell them I am 19 years old; I was born on July 21, 2006. I am not 13 years old," she said.
Her reaction follows a release by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, indicating that the student in the viral video was 13 years old and subsequently called for the arrest of the assistant headmaster.
Meanwhile, investigations into the matter are still ongoing to ascertain the facts of the matter to enable the relevant authorities to appropriately apply sanctions where required.
